Charlotte Benson

Charlotte read International Relations at Durham University, where she received a First Class Degree. Whilst completing her degree, she took a keen interest in Middle Eastern politics, exploring the US-Israel relationship through the lens of Iran for her dissertation. After completing her degree, Charlotte began an internship for a prominent Conservative Member of Parliament, Bob Blackman, a longstanding member of the Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Select Committee and Joint Executive Secretary of the 1922 Committee.  Charlotte also supported his work across his interests in housing policy, sponsoring two PMBs and holding membership of the APPG for Ending Homelessness and the APPG for Temporary Accommodation. Charlotte was quickly promoted to a permanent position and during this role she undertook many tasks associated with working for a Member of Parliament including MP communications, casework, campaign responses and liaising with constituents.

Charlotte has joined the corporate team at New Century Media as an Account Executive.
