George has over 15 years’ experience in strategic communications. Prior to joining New Century, he was Press Relations Manager at British American Tobacco, and he now advises clients across New Century’s corporate and financial practice. At New Century, George works on a variety of strategic communications and reputational management mandates for international businesses and individuals. George specialises in advising businesses which operate in highly regulated sectors.
George has worked at leading PR agencies where he has advised international businesses on corporate transactions, litigation and ongoing financial calendar activities as well as helping clients manage increasingly scrutinised reputations across stakeholders. George’s client experience includes Randox, Consensus Business Group, and SAB Miller.
At BAT, George was responsible for the company’s external communications, acting as a company spokesperson and advising the Board on media strategy. During his tenure at BAT, George was responsible for coordinating communications across all of BAT’s markets as well as advising on a number of litigation cases and proactive media campaigns.
George graduated from University College London in 2006.
