Account Manager (Financial Services)

New Century is actively seeking an Account Manager, with between two and three years experience, to work in its highly regarded financial services practice. The FS team is renowned for its corporate reputation management and crisis communications capabilities, having advised some of the most high profile individuals and corporates in the UK and overseas.
Candidates should be self-starters looking for client-facing exposure and recognition for their work and achievements. There are strong incentives for new business lead generation.
You will:
- Interact directly with clients
- Know how to write and issue press releases
- Secure and host media interviews
- Monitor relevant media
- Come from a financial services and corporate PR background
- Offer support to the rest of the team
You must:
- Show initiative
- Possess a good understanding of the financial press
- Be able to write persuasively and communicate effectively
