Alex Nekrassov

Alex, a Senior Consultant, has over 15 years of international experience providing strategic reputation and crisis management advice, and litigation support, to UK financial and professional services firms, TMT businesses, FTSE100, FTSE250 and Fortune 500 companies and high profile institutions.

He founded New Century’s highly-regarded litigation support practice in 2011, which is ranked by Chambers & Partners, the world’s leading legal rankings provider, as a “Highly Recommended Professional Advisor” in the 2019, 2020 and 2021 Litigation Support categories, sitting alongside some of the world’s largest communications agencies. He himself is a “Highly Recommended Ranked Professional”, among the UK’s top litigation support specialists category across 2019, 2020 and 2021. 

Alex is intimately familiar with the nuances of major, complex cross border legal disputes and white-collar defences. Alex has advised on crises and legal disputes in a range of sectors and industries in the UK, including banking, financial and professional services, asset management, energy, natural resources, TMT, and sports business. 

Over his career, Alex has advised on over 50 legal disputes across legal centres in the UK and Europe, with an overall quantum exceeding £40bn, and has led the reputation management strategy on some of the highest-profile white-collar defences in the UK.

Alex joined New Century in the summer of 2009 from a private equity and capital markets consultancy in the City of London and is a graduate of University College London.
